A complex red blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot with a dark ruby color. The nose is intense with violets, cassis, black raspberry, and blueberry notes leading to a medium/full body palate.
Medium to full intensity on the nose shows a great combination of black and red fruit with blackberry, cassis, and raspberry all made more complex with some herbal mint tones and slight cedar notes.
Abundant aromatics of sour cherry, cracked black pepper, red currant and pomegranate. The palate shows great acidity and balancing tannins with red fruit and floral notes leading to a long finish.
A dry Medium ruby colored wine with intense aromatics of chocolate covered raisins, cracked pepper, prunes and clove. The palate is medium body with a freshness to go with the more stewed fruit character and underlying silky tannins with great length.
The 2021 Baco is an interesting take on power meets elegance. The intensity and profile of stewed fruit, dried flowers and dried herbs is all about uber ripe power, but the palate is still lean and acidity driven with freshness keeping the wine lively, food friendly and inviting.
