A light to medium straw gold wine with wild aromatics of honey, lavender, key lime, pineapple and peach. The palate is medium to full and quite powerful with bracing acidity and a touch of sweetness for balance and accentuating all the tropical fruit leading to a long finish.

Winemaker Notes
he fruit for the Reserve Riesling was harvested off our Keuka Estate (where the winery is located) at two times. The first pick was to get fresh fruit with bracing acidity and the second was embracing the small amount of botrytis going to noble rot giving the wine intense tropical notes and lushness.
The juice for this wine was only the free run (press fraction went to Semi-Dry Classic) to keep the fruit expression pure and fresh. The juice was racked after three days and fermented with 50% spontaneous fermentations. The ferments lasted over the winter months for an average of 159 days.
Post fermentation the final blend was assembled, cold stabilized and filtered. There was no fining necessary.
Food Pairing Notes
We live in the Finger Lakes and the view of Keuka is stunning from this vineyard, so it’s only fitting this would pair well with some Lake Trout seared and finished with a white wine and tarragon sauce served with some simple grilled asparagus.
